Strix Television is pleased to announce that its popular entertainment format Home Delivery (8 x 45') has found a new home. The lifestyle format has been acquired by American production company Angel City Factory, part of the Banijay Group.
A new series using the format will be produced by Angel City Factory for OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. Titled "Home Takeover with Simon & Tomas," the new show is set to premiere in the United States, March 28, 2011. It will be hosted by Sweden-based designers Simon Davies and Tomas Cederlund.
Home Delivery follows Sweden's popular designers Simon and Tomas as they find the most repulsive and tasteless homes in the country and transform them into elegant and stylish abodes. At their disposal is a professional building crew led by a construction manager ready to step in whenever their services are needed.
The popular entertainment series began airing in March 2007 with a total of six series during primetime on TV 3 Sweden.
